Sinclair Lewis published the novel “It Can’t Happen Here” in 1935, and the first stage production of the story was mounted the following year. The powerful story has stood for century as one the clearest, most powerful cautionary tales about fascism taking hold in a nation.
To commemorate the centennial of the stage work, KVSC is joining in a nationwide effort to mount a new live production of “It Can’t Happen Here” in all fifty states.
Join us for a special reading of the play featuring cast members drawn from our local community.
